The ACG Guide to Chilling Out - set in Iceland, one of the foremost locations where climate change has been the most visible witnessed by visitors (including the design teams) and locals alike. It inspired the designers to make the first completely Tier 1 sustainable apparel collection in Nike’s history. The challenge was how to communicate an impactful and urgent message through the lens of ACG, differentiating from other outdoor brands. The creative direction was that of a Curious Earthling showcased in three ways - documentary adventure photography, visual evidence of climate change, and handmade response and observation. In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint and impact, a local team made up of a videographer, illustrator and producers were featured on both sides of the camera.
